+++Cupcake Tuesday+++ Purple Velvet With Marshmallow Buttercream~

Purple Velvet W/Marshmallow Buttercream

     Orange and purple.  The official colors of Halloween.  Orange is the color of pumpkins, turning leaves, and bonfire flames.  But purple?  Well, purple is the color of ...mayhem!  Insane, violent, high charged craziness!  And these cupcakes embody the character of the color they sport!  So enjoy your mayhem in cupcake form, and maybe, just maybe, you'll have a small semblance of control over the uncontrollable. (or at least enough of an illusion to let you fall asleep at night......MWAA HA HA HA!!!)

Purple hued velvety deliciousness!!

Make sure to dress in a purple liner-

A favorite of vampire bats everywhere!

~1 tsp vanilla bean paste

Mix on med high until smooth and silky.

I adore these! The purple is fantastic - and that marshmallow buttercream sounds amazing.

Mrs Fox~ Thank you! Yes, you'll be adding black till your blue in the face, but still won't get
black w/out a little brown! :-]

Pup Fan~ It is really good! I think it's a nice alternative to cream cheese frosting!

You did a great job with those tiny bats out of fondant. Great touch with the "blood" too. Thank you for sharing your post at Joy of Desserts. :-)
